What kind of restaurant is Sunday Sauce?
Sunday Sauce is a neighborhood Italian American restaurant serving up red sauce classics based on co-owner Amanda Cannon’s family recipes and childhood in New Jersey
Do you take reservations?
We are walk-in only and seat guests on a first come, first served basis. Once the restaurant is full, we begin a wait-list for the evening. We send text notifications, so you can explore our great neighborhood while you wait.
When are you open?
We are open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner. Doors open at 4pm, and our last seating is at 9pm– don’t worry, ,that doesn’t mean we close at 9!
What is your style of service?
We are a Family Style restaurant. Our food comes out as it’s ready and is meant to be passed around the table and shared.
What is the vibe at Sunday Sauce?
We are a lively, exuberant restaurant. Our soundtrack includes music from the 80s, 90s, and early aughts, leaning heavily into New Jersey icons.
How large of a group can you accommodate?
Our largest tables seat up to 8 guests, but it’s cozy! If you have more than 8 guests, we might only be able to accommodate split tables. You can email us to inquire about partial buy-outs at Catering@sundaysaucepdx.com.
Is Sunday Sauce family-friendly?
Yes. We welcome families and offer menu options that work well for kids, because what kid doesn’t love a lil spaghetti with red sauce!?
Do you offer vegetarian or gluten-free options?
We do! Yes. We have vegetarian dishes available and offer gluten-free pasta substitutions upon request. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Do you offer takeout?
At this time, Sunday Sauce is primarily a dine-in experience. Takeout availability may vary depending on how busy we are, but feel free to stop by and ask — we’re happy to help when we can!

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are available for purchase at the restaurant and online.
Do have a corkage fee?
Yes,our corkage fee is $30 per 750 ml bottle.
